Here’s a look at all of the NFL teams after roster cuts. I’ll take a look at the offensive side of the ball and focus on areas that could be needed/added to, as they’re thin, or upgrades may be warranted.
Arizona Cardinals

Wide receiver talent is the skill position that needs an addition that can compete as high on the roster as the #2 receiving option behind Marvin Harrison Jr.
Atlanta Falcons

A running back addition to compete with Nathan Carter for the third spot behind Bijan Robinson Jr. and Tyler Allgeier would make the most sense as their an injury away from that being a pivotal role.
Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens have a roster built to compete for the Super Bowl. If something happened to Lamar Jackson, they need a QB that can step in to keep them on track, that can give play above that of Cooper Rush.
Buffalo Bills

The Bills have a talented, deep group on paper, but adding a player that can compete with Josh Palmer, Elijah Moore, Curtis Samuel, and Tyrell Shavers would be a wise addition behind Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir.
Carolina Panthers

The Panthers are a sneaky team with talent all over and expected to make a jump in performance this season. Bryce Young should have his best season, but in case of injury or lack of improvement, Carolina needs someone better than Andy Dalton, who can step up.
Chicago Bears

Running parallel with the Panthers, Chicago, and their former 1st overall draft pick at QB is ready for major improvements. They have a solid backfield in D’Andre Swift, Roschon Johnson, and rookie Kyle Monangai, but with Johnson banged up, an upgrade and insurance should be added.
Cincinnati Bengals

Chase Brown is expected to take on a bigger workload this year. Behind him, the Bengals have a serviceable Samaje Perine and an unproven rookie 6th-rounder in Tahj Brooks. If Brown falters or suffers injury, the Bengals would see a huge decline. They need someone with the talent to fill the gap between Brown and Perine.
Cleveland Browns

Jerome Ford, along with rookies Quinshon Judkins and Dylan Sampson, is solid on paper. However, we don’t know when/if Judkins shows up. Cleveland needs another quality player in the mix with Ford and Sampson.
Dallas Cowboys

A case can be made to upgrade over Joe Milton III, but with Phil Mafah injured and Dallas opting to keep Miles Sanders, the Cowboys should add a player in the backfield that makes Miles Sanders expendable.
Denver Broncos

Denver is solid at each of their skill positions, but if Evan Engram goes down, they don’t have a player who would prevent a massive falloff in receiving production at tight end.
Detroit Lions

Behind Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, the Lions have guys they like, and Craig Reynolds has been around for a while in Detroit, and they trust him. Still, Montgomery is aging and shouldn’t carry the bulk of the workload if Gibbs misses time. They need a more talented third back.
Green Bay Packers

It may seem odd to believe that the Packers could trade Doubs and also mention that a receiver addition could be needed. Doubs’ body language was off in the preseason, and he may seek an exit out of town where he’s allowed to be the #1 or #2 guy in an offense in a contract year. The Packers would need a serviceable extra depth piece at the position if that plays out.
Houston Texans

Houston has two talented tight ends with Dalton Schultz and Cade Stover, but that’s it. They may stash some of the recently released tight ends on the depth chart. They still should look around the league for a guy worthy of a roster spot behind Stover.
Indianapolis Colts

Rookie tight end Tyler Warren will have a major role for the Colts this year. Behind him, they lack true receiving talent that could come anywhere close to replicating his production if he missed a few games. It’d make sense to bring in another above-average receiving talent for depth.
Jacksonville Jaguars

On paper, the depth looks adequate with rookie Travis Hunter Jr., but with him possibly being a part-time offensive player, it becomes thin at receiver with Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Dyami Brown, and Austin Trammell.
Kansas City Chiefs

Isiah Pacheco looks back to his old self, rookie Brashard Smith should fill a Jet McKinnon role out of the backfield and there are other serviceable veterans. It’s still a position that they could look for a better #2 back if Pacheco has a setback or doesn’t continue to play at the level we’ve seen from him in the past and this preseason.
Los Angeles Chargers

For a heavy-run offense, the duo of rookie Omarion Hampton and Najee Harris looks great. However, Harris has missed a lot of time in his first season in L.A., and Hassan Haskins should be upgraded with a guy who gives better efficiency that could push Harris as well.
Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are top-heavy at the receiver position with stars Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. A team with big aspirations should have higher-ceiling options behind them than Tutu Atwell and Jordan Whittington.
Las Vegas Raiders

Ashton Jeanty should have a phenomenal rookie season. Behind him, Raheem Mostert has a lengthy injury history and Zamir White has struggled as a pro, no matter how much new head coach Pete Carroll talks him up. There are better options than White that should be brought in.
Miami Dolphins

De’Von Achane is banged up but expected to be ready for Week 1. Behind him, rookie 6th-rounder Ollie Gordon II has looked back than last year’s 4th-rounder Jaylen Wright. Insurance could be signed at the position that could compete with Gordon II and Wright for a solid workload, with Achane being more efficient with a lighter workload.
Minnesota Vikings

It’s no secret that the Vikings need an addition here with Jordan Addison suspended for a few games, Jalen Nailor dealing with an injury, and Justin Jefferson missing most of camp. Reports are out that Minnesota and Carolina are trying to hash out the details on a move to bring Adam Thielen back to the Vikings. It should happen.
New England Patriots

Behind Hunter Henry and Austin Hooper, there could be a move to upgrade the third TE spot over Jack Westover. It’s a depth move, but with the Patriots having quality talent and depth at all of the other skill positions, it’d make sense to ensure the TE position is complete as well.
New Orleans Saints

The Saints spent most of the preseason with injuries biting the TE position. Juwan Johson is back and ready to go but Foster Moreau and Taysom Hill will start the season on the PUP list. For a young QB in Spencer Rattler, it’d be great for at least a short-term upgrade behind Johnson.
New York Giants

The Giants have a young star in Malik Nabers, who has been dealing with several injuries in the preseason and is supposed to manage a toe injury throughout the season. They have Wandale Robinson and Darius Slayton behind him, but then it gets thin with Jalin Hyatt, Gunner Olszewski, and Beaux Collins. They need an addition that has the talent to push Robinson and Slayton.
New York Jets

The Jets are in a similar situation as the Giants with a top-tier #1 receiver, but their position behind their star at the position is even more dire, with veterans Tyler Johnson, Allen Lazard, and Josh Reynolds, along with 4th-round rookie Arian Smith. They need a guy who can push to be the #2 for them.
Philadelphia Eagles

It’s a loaded roster for the defending champs, but an upgrade could be had over A.J. Dillon as the third option in the backfield. Saquon Barkley is coming off a season with an astronomical workload, and last year’s 4th-rounder Will Shipley has to prove himself as a rushing option, as he’s a known commodity with stellar receiving skills.
Pittsburgh Steelers

Similar to the Vikings, it’s well known that the Steelers need another quality receiving option with DK Metcalf. Roman Wilson should have a breakout year after missing almost all of his rookie season in 2024, and Calvin Austin III is a solid third option. The room becomes complete by adding a true talent at #2, allowing Wilson to move to an even better option as the third receiver, with Austin III being quality depth for the team.
Seattle Seahawks

Zach Charbonnet is in line for his best season this year, but Kenneth Walker III struggles to stay on the field. Behind that duo is George Holani, who looked solid in the preseason, but due to him being unproven and the risk involved, yearly, with Walker III’s health, insurance could be added to compete at the position.
San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco has a ton of talent at the receiver position, but unfortunately, the bulk of them are currently injured, including Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, and their two 4th-rounders from the last two draft classes in Jacob Cowing (2024) and Jordan Watkins (2025). Demarcus Robinson will serve a suspension to start the season, and Skyy Moore just arrived via trade. Ricky Pearsall looks like a star in the making, but at least in the short term, he needs some running mates.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The wide position group may be the best group of top-4 receivers on a roster, but Chris Godwin Jr. and Jalen McMillan are injured and will miss serious time. That leaves the ageless wonder Mike Evans and 1st-round rookie Emeka Egbuka as top-end talent before the falloff to Ryan Miller and rookie 7th-rounder Tez Johnson. Similar to the 49ers, they at least, in the short term, need a talented receiver that can step in right away and play at a high level as the third option.
Tennessee Titans

Injuries hit the Titans backfield with Tyjae Spears, leaving starter Tony Pollard and a solid rookie find in the 6th round with Kalel Mullings. The team seems to like Julius Chestnut, but an upgrade could be had over their depth via trade or signing.
Washington Commandeers

Terry McLaurin was finally re-signed, but may need time to get into regular-season shape. Veteran Noah Brown is injured, and Deebo Samuel is in his first year with the team and likely to spend some time working out of the backfield. Rookie 4th-rounder Jaylin Lane looks the part, but behind him, there are just serviceable depth pieces. They need to add a talent at the position with the talent to be a top-3 option at the position, even if he falls to a depth role.
