NFL: The 5 Highest Scoring Teams From Sunday In Week 2

Week two of the NFL season is nearly in the books. We do have two MNF games to play tonight, but before those kick off, let’s take a look at the five teams that put up the most points in week 2:

Detroit Lions: 52 Points

After being completely shut down in week one against the Packers, the Lions made a statement in week two with a massive win over the Bears. Jared Goff and Amon Ra St. Brown had massive games. David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs were both great at running the football, too.

Baltimore Ravens 41 Points

The game between the Ravens and Browns was relatively low scoring early on, but eventually the Ravens pulled away. It was Lamar Jackson tossing dimes all over the field to his WRs that led the way. The Browns did a great job against Derrick Henry.

Dallas Cowboys 40 Points

In the wildest game of the week, the Cowboys put up big-time numbers in the passing game, Javonte Williams made big plays rushing the football, and K Brandon Aubrey hit huge field goals in crunch time. Dak and Pickens finally got things rolling together.

New York Giants 37 Points

After looking so bad in week one offensively, the Giants came out firing in week two, and it was Russell Wilson and Malik Nabers who just could not be stopped. Wilson threw for a career high in yards and may not be losing his starting job anytime soon.

Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots 33 points

Both teams had good days and came away with wins on the road. Stafford, Adams, and Puka put up big-time numbers for the Rams, and Drake Maye had a strong game for the Patriots with 3 total TDs.
