Week six in the NFL has come and gone. We were treated to some excellent games, we saw some major upsets and some clutch performances. Some teams dug themselves a hole that looks to be too steep to get out of, and others might have saved their seasons with a win. Here is a review of every team that played in week 6, with the exception of the two Monday Night Football games.
Philadelphia Eagles
Sep 14, 2025; Kansas City, Missouri, USA; Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (26) celebrates after quarterback Jalen Hurts (not pictured) scored a touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs during the fourth quarter of the game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The Eagles suffer their second straight loss at the hands of a division opponent. Saquon only getting 12 carries could be the source of their problems, but keep trying to keep A.J. Brown happy. That seems to work well.
New York Giants
Sep 28, 2025; East Rutherford, New Jersey, USA; New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart (6) looks to pass during the third quarter against the Los Angeles Chargers at MetLife Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Brad Penner-Imagn Images
The Jaxson Dart-Cam Skattebo sensation tandem stays hot behind four combined rushing touchdowns. I mean, who wants to try and tackle Skattebo?
Denver Broncos
Sep 29, 2025; Denver, Colorado, USA; Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (10) makes a pass during the fourth quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals at Empower Field at Mile High. Mandatory Credit: Ron Chenoy-Imagn Images
A win is a win. The Broncos’ defense racks up a whopping nine sacks in a grinder of a game in London against the Jets.
New York Jets
Sep 29, 2025; Miami Gardens, Florida, USA; New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson (5) makes a catch against the Miami Dolphins during the first half at Hard Rock Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Sam Navarro-Imagn Images
I think we are all as puzzled as Garrett Wilson about the Jets’ approach in the two-minute drill, let alone the direction of this team. This team could be selling at the deadline coming up.
Arizona Cardinals
Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Deforest Buckner (99) pressures Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett (7) on Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
No Kyler, almost no problem. Jacoby Brissett almost scored a win against the Colts, but they came up short in the closing moments to fall to 2-4, which seems like a mile behind their division foes.
Indianapolis Colts

Despite an odd pregame warmup debacle, the Colts rally together and pull off a comeback win. Jonathan Taylor continues to look like the best back in football this season.
Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert leads a game-winning drive to break the hearts of the Dolphins, a feeling they are familiar with. Ladd McConkey finally breaks through with 100 yards and a touchdown.
Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa throws three picks, and the Dolphins fall to 1-5. However, Tua sells out his teammates at the podium postgame for not showing up to meetings.
New England Patriots

Drake Maye was dealing against the Saints, throwing for 261 yards and three touchdowns as the Patriots scored their fourth win of the year (as many as Brian Callahan had during his Titans tenure).
New Orleans Saints

The Saints stayed in the game against the Patriots, but they committed the only turnover in the game, which could have very well been the difference.
Cleveland Browns
Sep 14, 2025; Baltimore, Maryland, USA; Cleveland Browns quarterback Dillon Gabriel (8) drops back to pass during the second half against the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Peter Casey-Imagn Images
Dillon Gabriel plays decent once again behind a conservative pass game, but the Browns could only muster three field goals, which is not good enough against the Steelers.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Sep 21, 2025; Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA; Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (8) runs the ball during the fourth quarter at Gillette Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Paul Rutherford-Imagn Images
The Steelers take a commanding lead in the AFC North after handling the Browns. Aaron Rodgers and D.K. Metcalf continue to build their chemistry as they link up for another touchdown and 95 yards. The defense racked up six sacks as well.
Dallas Cowboys
Sep 28, 2025; Arlington, Texas, USA; Green Bay Packers cornerback Keisean Nixon (25) breaks up a pass intended for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens (3) during the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers at AT&T Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jerome Miron-Imagn Images
The Cowboys were indeed not ready for Rico Dowdle. George Pickens detonated for 168 yards and a touchdown in a shootout game, but the Panthers got the last laugh.
Carolina Panthers
Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young (9) hands off the ball to Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle (5) during the fourth quarter against the Miami Dolphins at Bank of America Stadium. Credit: Cory Knowlton-Imagn Images
Dowdle owns the Cowboys with over 200 scrimmage yards and a touchdown, and they get the win over the Cowboys to draw to .500
Seattle Seahawks
Sep 25, 2025; Glendale, Arizona, USA; Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (11) against the Arizona Cardinals at State Farm Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Mark J. Rebilas-Imagn Images
Jaxon Smith-Njigba keeps his momentum going with over 160 yards and a touchdown, leading Seattle to another victory over a good Jaguars team.
Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags lose a tough one at home against Seattle. Kicker Cam Little missed an extra point and a field goal, but BTJ seemed to get back on track with 90 yards and a touchdown.
Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (12) reacts against the Philadelphia Eagles during the first half at Lincoln Financial Field. Credit: Bill Streicher-Imagn Images
Puka Nacua suffered an ankle injury in the game, but the Rams still got it done playing against a Lamar Jackson-less Ravens team.
Baltimore Ravens
Sep 28, 2025; Kansas City, Missouri, USA; Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry (22) runs the ball during the first half against the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn Images
Well, Derrick Henry got 24 carries for 122 yards, but he got zero carries from the one-yard line before halftime. That resulted in zero points for the Ravens as they mustered only three points for the entire game and dropped to a staggering 1-5.
Tennessee Titans

The Titans once again come to life a little bit in the fourth quarter as they lose to the Raiders. HC Brian Callahan was fired Monday afternoon, and Mike McCoy takes over as interim.
Las Vegas Raiders
Sep 7, 2025; Foxborough, Massachusetts, USA; Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Geno Smith (7) reacts after the game at Gillette Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Brian Fluharty-Imagn Images
Geno Smith throws another pick, but they get the win. Ashton Jeanty strings together another good game with 75 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Cincinnati Bengals
Dec 22, 2024; Cincinnati, Ohio, USA; Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase (1) celebrates a touchdown with wide receiver Tee Higgins (5) during the first quarter against the Cleveland Browns at Paycor Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Joseph Maiorana-Imagn Images
Joe Flacco’s first game as a Bengal resulted in a loss to the Packers. It was nice to see Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins touch the ball, though.
Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (8) against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wis. The Packers defeated the Lions 27-13.

Josh Jacobs rushes for 93 yards and two touchdowns as the Packers handle business and respond to the Bengals second-half rally.
San Francisco 49ers
Sep 14, 2025; New Orleans, Louisiana, USA; San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (10) passes against the New Orleans Saints during the second half at Caesars Superdome. Mandatory Credit: Stephen Lew-Imagn Images
Mac Jones could not pull another win out against the Bucs. The Niners lose yet another top player in Fred Warner for the season due to an ankle injury.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Jan 12, 2025; Tampa, Florida, USA; Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (6) throws against Washington Commanders linebacker Dante Fowler Jr. (6) during the second quarter of a NFC wild card playoff at Raymond James Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Kim Klement Neitzel-Imagn Images
Baker Mayfield loses Emeka Egbuka in the game but still tosses touchdowns to Tez Johnson and Kameron Johnson for their first NFL touchdowns. The Bucs go to 5-1 and keep rolling.
Detroit Lions
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff (16) makes a pass against Cincinnati Bengals during the second half at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2025.
The Lions lose a tough one on the road after their early momentum was killed by an illegal formation penalty on the goal line.
Kansas City Chiefs
Sep 28, 2025; Kansas City, Missouri, USA; Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) throws a pass during the first quarter against the Baltimore Ravens at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Denny Medley-Imagn Images
The Chiefs put together a good offensive game and hung 30 points on a good Lions team, and got to .500.
