Things went down to the last minute for the Seattle Seahawks as they left Arizona with a victory. The Los Angeles Rams continued a strong season while the San Francisco 49ers had a tough home loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That leads to some movement as we dive into our updated NFC West Power Rankings.
#1 – Los Angeles Rams

Puka Nacua has become a legitimate cheat code. He’s nine yards short of four straight 100-yard games to begin the season, and we can’t ignore Davante Adams. With Kyren Williams, the running game is strong. Matthew Stafford is more than capable of leading the offense, and that’s been on display to begin the season. With a defense ranked 10th in points allowed, it’s a full team effort.
#2 – Seattle Seahawks

While the Seattle Seahawks’ offense isn’t lighting up the scoreboard, Sam Darnold has also proven to be a worthy addition. After losing in Week 1, Darnold has led the Seahawks to three straight victories. Jaxon Smith-Njigba is off to a great start, and a healthy Kenneth Walker creates a well-balanced offense. It will be a big test for Seattle as they travel to Tampa Bay with their second-ranked defense looking to shut down Baker Mayfield.
#3 – San Francisco 49ers

It was a tough week for the San Francisco 49ers as they lost a very winnable home game to the Jacksonville Jaguars. Granted, it was their first loss of the season, but they should be undefeated heading into this week’s matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. Brock Purdy should be good to go while he deals with a toe injury, but the 49ers are struggling with health at the receiver position. The bigger issue is the need to generate a pass rush with Nick Bosa out for the season.
#4 – Arizona Cardinals

It was a close, competitive game last week as a late-game comeback by the Arizona Cardinals almost resulted in victory. The Cardinals are looking to generate their running game with James Conner out for the year, while Marvin Harrison struggles to find consistency. Kyler Murray needs to step up with the sixth-ranked defense, in points allowed, keeping Arizona in games. This week’s game is winnable against the Tennessee Titans, even if the Cardinals still have some issues.
