With 4 weeks of the 2025 NFL season gone, the Philadelphia Eagles have built a two-game lead in the NFC East. With the Commanders losing this week, the Eagles have a bit of a cushion to work with as they head into Week 5. The Cowboys and Giants are still what seems like light-years behind the Eagles, and will both look to keep their seasons afloat on the road this week.

It wasn’t pretty, but the Eagles escaped with another win on Sunday as they took down the Buccaneers 31-25 on the road. Philadelphia has looked dominant at times this year and very vulnerable at others, but wins are wins, and they have four of them in four games. The scariest part for the rest of the league is that both Saquon Barkley and A.J. Brown have had very slow starts.

#2 Washington Commanders (2-2)

The Commanders have had a strange start to the season as they’ve been without Jayden Daniels for half of their games so far. Marcus Mariota has filled in ably, but it wasn’t enough this past weekend as Washington lost to the Falcons on the road. With both Daniels and Terry McLaurin banged up, the Commanders are at a bit of a crossroads and will need to beat the 3-1 Chargers on the road to stay above .500.

#3 Dallas Cowboys (1-2-1)

While one could argue that the Cowboys could easily be 3-1, one could also argue that the Cowboys are lucky not to be 0-4. With a surprising 40-40 tie on Sunday Night Football, the Cowboys stayed within two and a half games of the Eagles. They’ll need to keep winning without CeeDee Lamb for the next few weeks, but George Pickens and Jake Ferguson have been stepping up in his absence.

#4 New York Giants (1-3)

The Giants got their first win of the season on Sunday, but it came at a great expense as they lost Malik Nabers for the year with an ACL tear. Rookie Jaxson Dart was solid in his NFL debut, and fellow rookie Cam Skattebo has emerged as the RB1 for the time being. With the upset win over the Chargers, the Giants are now 1-3 on the year.
