After two weeks of the 2025 NFL season, we’re already starting to see separation in the NFC East. And that separation is almost exactly how most people would’ve expected things to shake out. The division now has one undefeated team, two teams sitting at .500, and one team still winless at 0-2. Let’s look at how those records translate into the NFC East Power Rankings for Week 3.
#1 Philadelphia Eagles (2-0)

The Eagles currently sit at 2-0 after beating the Chiefs 20-17 in Kansas City. And the scary part (for the rest of the division and league) is that the Eagles have played pretty abysmally on the offensive side of the ball so far. Jalen Hurts threw for just 101 passing yards in the win over the Chiefs, and A.J. Brown has just 35 receiving yards total through two weeks. The Eagles are going to be hard to catch if things start clicking on offense.
#2 Washington Commanders (1-1)

The Commanders came back down to Earth a bit in a 28-19 loss in Green Bay last week on Thursday Night Football. I think the Packers being really good had more to do with the loss than anything, but the Commanders offense looked stagnant in putting up just three points through the first three quarters. Jayden Daniels is now dealing with knee pain, but Washington will at least get a home game against the Raiders this week to try and turn things around.
#3 Dallas Cowboys (1-1)

The Cowboys defense made Russell Wilson look like Tom Brady in their Week 2 win over the Giants, but Dallas was still able to escape with a 40-37 overtime win against New York. While the defense obviously misses Micah Parsons, the Cowboys offense looks much-improved to start the year (especially the rushing attack behind Javonte Williams). They have a good chance at getting above .500 with a road matchup against a struggling Bears team this week.
#4 New York Giants (0-2)

The Giants put up over 500 yards of total offense in their Week 2 loss to the Cowboys, but they also gave up 40 points and were unable to make key plays when it mattered. While Russell Wilson staved off Jaxson Dart talk for at least one more week, the Giants are the inarguable worst team in the division. And things aren’t going to get better quickly with the Chiefs coming to town this week.
What’s Next?

The Eagles have a chance to take control of the division this week if they’re able to hold serve at home against the Rams. Both the Cowboys and Commanders have winnable games that would allow them to stay within striking distance, but the Giants will likely be 0-3 by the next time we do our NFC East Power Rankings. Though things can change quickly in the NFL, the NFC East is falling into place in the exact way we all thought it would.
