I rank the top 13 teams in MLB right now in terms of best to worst chance of winning the 2025 World Series:
1. Los Angeles Dodgers

The Dodgers are once again a top team in the league. They have dealt with a lot of pitching injuries, but have managed to figure it out. They dont have to have the best record in baseball to be considered the favorite.
2. Toronto Blue Jays

They have been playing great baseball lately and have taken over top spot in the AL East. They have a deep rotation and get tons of clutch hitting.
3. Houston Astros

They have taken over the AL West. Their starting pitching has been great, their bullpen has been great and their lineup has exceeded expectations without Yordan Alvarez.
4. Chicago Cubs

The offense is amazing, the starting pitching has been solid, and the bullpen has settled in nicely thanks to Daniel Palencia locking things down at the end of games.
5. New York Mets

Their starting pitching has been one of the best in baseball until recently, and their lineup is great. Edwin Diaz is one of the best closers in baseball as well.
6. Philadelphia Phillies

They have a terrific lineup, great starting pitching, and plenty of arms in the pen. They will be in a battle with the Mets for stop spot in the NL East for the rest of the season.
7. Milwaukee Brewers

They are getting amazing starting pitching and production up and down their lineup. They have been the hottest team in the National League.
8. Detroit Tigers

Great rotation and getting production from young hitters. They have struggled for a couple weeks now.
9. New York Yankees

Their pitching has let them down over the past couple of weeks, but they still remain a contender.
10. Texas Rangers

Pitching, especially the starting pitching, has been excellent. They are playing well lately and are making a run toward an AL wild card spot. If they get into the playoffs, and I believe they will, they can be carried by their starting pitching and playoff experience.
11. Seattle Mariners

Their starting pitching is solid and getting healthy, and their lineup is much better than last year, especially after adding Josh Naylor and Eugenio Suarez.
12. Boston Red Sox

Lack of pitching depth might be a problem, but they are dangerous offensively and can make some serious noise.
13. San Diego Padres

The Padres have hung around in the NL West this season, they are in the Wild Card as of now and they have plenty of talent to make a deep playoff run.
